Ok,my uncle was in iraq he has many,many,many badges he gave me his uniform and in iraq he was a sniper him and a couple of buddies were marching beside a tank to help lookout and the enemy had mines set up and the tank kept rolling toward them noone saw them they were about a couple inches underground and the tank rolled over that mine and blew up.My uncle very fortunately lived his buddies did to,but,there was a downside to living he had glass in his back,shoulders,thighs,feet,shins,and neck hes ok now and im glad i still have an uncle like him.He let me fire his 50 cal.sniper rifle and let me wear his gilly suit!!! :)

2 days ago my 16 yr old boyfriend told me he is signing up 4 the army in 2 yrs. at that moment i started 2 cry the thought of him being gone 4 monthes even yrs pained me n 2 think about him getin hurt was unbareable. i have always suported the army n soliders. but i will miss my boyfriend so much im proud of him n happy 4 him but scared he will get hurt. idk wat 2 do. i also  want 2 join some branch of the army possibley the coast guard but scared of getin hurt or killed n my family haveing 2 go on with out me. plz give me some advice i realy need it. thank  u n god bless.

My boyfriend Zach is 19, is a Senior in High School and an Infantryman in the Indiana National Guard. He went to Fort Benning, Georgia for BCT and is going back next month for AIT for Infantry Training. I'm 18 and  a Junior in High School and am hopefully joining the Army (Active Duty) this Fall!!
