Tanya is a fabulous role model. She has overcome so much in the past two years. SO excited to see her in this video and call her my friend.

As a child they called me the Paperboy. I sold news papers on McDill Air Force Base to every GI that lived in 15 three story barracks during the Vietnam War. Central Command use to be called Strike Command. I sold the Commander Lt General Conway a newspaper once and got to meet your Predasessor Lt General Benjamin O Davis Junior while he served as the Deputy for Strike Command. As a young Enlisted man in the Corps we use to get excited if we saw a 2Lt now it is common to see us wearing gold and silver. As a Army Officer I found that not only are you a Proud Group of Women you are highly intelligent. it warms my heart to see your smile and know that you will become part of the chain of command to assist all soldiers in every way. I'm proud to know that the door is open for more Young Sista's to walk through. Have fun, further your education, protect your professional and personal integrity and never forget that you are always under a microscope for three reasons. Your a Woman, Your Black and You are Educated. I can sleep good tonight knowing that the country is safe on your watch.
