• From Alabama to West Point

  I grew up in the small town of Fort Payne, Alabama and never thought I would join the military, much less end up joinng the military through West Point.  I have been in the Army for over 15 years now and the expereince has been great.  While there are numerous recruiting videos touting all the benefits tthat the Army can provide you, the Army has truly provided me with opportunities that I would have never imagined. 

  Educationally, the Army allowed me the opportunity to earn a BS in Mathematics from West Point, an MS in Aerospace Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an MBA from Columbia University.  In addition, I have been able to attend several professional development courses through the Army. 

  While I'm not sure if this will help anyone who reads it, I thought it was worthwhile to at least share a brief synopsis of my experience in the Army, specifically the educational opportunities I've been afforded, in order to help someone else contemplating making the Army a career.
