  My name is Danielle Wilson and i'll be turning 18 this november. i plan on joining the Army after my sophmore year ends, i'll be part time in the army reserves as a Jr then as a Sr, ill become Active Duty and im looking forward to becoming a Army Soldier

  I would wait until you can enlist for active duty. Trust me....getting released to active can be so hard and it may never happen!

      I have been through the process to get released three times and each time has been unsuccesful due to my paperwork expiring in the process. My Command now has a policy that makes it even more challenging. I know a lot of Reservists that have tried and who have been denied. I only, personally, know one who was released. It used to be easier, but the regulations got a lot more challenging after a lot of Reservists started moving to Active and manning was affected.
