New Army Wife
November 2, 2010
I am keeping a blog of my journey into the Army Life, as a new Army wife.
Enjoy!
www.armywife.squarespace.com
I started this Blog to kind of 'document' my husband's and my journey in this new life. I know that, over the years, we will likely forget exactly what it was like and how we truly felt, throughout all of the many experiences that we will have, to include Basic Training, AIT, our first duty station, deployments, and so on. To have it written down in this blog (or online journal) will make it possible for us to look back on everything, most likely with fondness. By sharing my blog, I have received several comments form other women whose husbands are also Army Strong and they enjoy reading about my experience and comparing it to their own, or they are in the same boat as me and are going through the same stages as I am, and can completely relate. I am so thrilled that I can provide some insight, or GAIN some insight, from those who read my blog.
So far, in this very early stage of being an Army Wife, I can see that it takes a strong woman...which I certainly am! I look forward to the friendships that I will make, the different places in the world I may see, and the career that my husband will have. It makes me SO proud to support a man who supports this country for a living!
