OK, so it has been a little while since I have posted a blogg.  We went on our family vacation this year back in July.  We went up to Red River, New Mexico.

It is way up at the northern part of that state in the mountains.  We stayed a little place called 3 Bears Lodge.  Really nice cabin right in the middle a the coolest little town.

We did a bunch of fishing, went up on the ski-lift (quite a view from the top).  We even rented a little Jeep from a local outfitter for a day.  I think I kind of scared the wife and kids with a few of the roads I went on, but we were able to see places we would not have in just a regular vehicle.  Of course I kind of felt like I was cheating on my old faithful CJ but it was just too tough to bring her along.

My wife saw this cool cave along one of the roads we were on with the Jeep, so of course she and the boy just had to go exploring.  I couldn't get them to go too far in but it is was just one of those things you have to have a picture of.

So all in all a nice relaxing week up in the mountains away from all of the cares of the world.  Needless to say it was way too short.
