MINI ME!!

May 16, 2010

OK, so I had a little time since I have been at home with my daughter a bit more than usual.  I had this old toy Jeep in the garage I had not used in a while.  My wife came up with the idea to make it look like my big toy.

I originally was going for an exact replica, but I auickly found out that was a bit out of my skill range.  So a few graphics from the internet and some creative gluing and clean paint did pretty well for a decent look.

It was a fun little projects for the evenings hanging out at the house with the wife and kids.

Oh, my SGM got back from Haiti on Friday.  Glad to have him back.  He is a great Civil Affairs SGM and a great man to have around.  Ever the voice of sanity and reason, and I really am glad he is back to help me out with all of the missions coming up at ARMY SOUTH.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

    Major Wooten,

I've read some of your post, and have enjoyed a lot of them. But completely off subject, in a few years, I was hoping to be commissioned as an Officer, while still attending college. Would it be better to apply to Westpoint? Utilize ROTC scholarships? Join the National Gaurd/Reserve? Do you have any insight on this? If so, I would gladly like to hear some advice, since I'm a confused on which path to take.

    Thanks for writing these post!

Connor G. (If you have advice, I think the email is in the info? Not sure if it will appear when this i posted)
