Luckily my NCOIC and I were actually working at the time.  The mission  on that day was actully simulating a visit by USAID and the "Centralian" President to several of the IDP camps - Internally Displaced Persons camps.  Dealing with large ammounts of people that are displaced due to natural or man-made causes is a big Civil Affairs mission and takes a great deal of coordination with other agencies outside of the Army and even outside the DoD and US Government.

All in all, other than sleeping on a cot, the exercise went well, the other nations that participated were pleased and impressed and I managed not to get into any trouble.
