OK, I promised an update on my daughter.

The cast is off, but we are not nearly out of the woods yet. She developed a pressure sore on the heel of her right foot. It looks nasty and I am sure it really hurts and it drained puss and fluid for 3 days. This will take several weeks to clear up.

We have her on a vitamin D supplement. This will hopefully compliment the two days of IV drip with the bisphosiphate from last week.

Having the cast off has helped a great deal, she is so much easier to move around and to get her bathed, not to mention getting her in and out of bed.

So, all in all we are on the mend, slowly but surely it will all get better and so long as we can keep any other complications from coping up.
