100 Black Men of America Conference

June 8, 2011

I've just hit the ground in San Francisco ready to participate as a member of the Army team supporting this years 100 Black Men of America Conference. There are all kinds of activities scheduled for adults and youth alike and it's sure to be a great time. These are the types of events I love to do as an Army ROTC Asst. Professor of Military Science, more specifically the Recruiting And Operations Officer. Not only am I the subject matter expert on all of the different options and opportunities available to college students on campus (Howard University, Washington, DC), I get to speak with prospective students in high school, parents, and Service members from all over the country on what it takes to become an Army Officer.I encourage anyone who has even the slightest interest to contact their nearest university Army ROTC department to get the latest and greatest information on subjects like leadership training, the ins and outs of being an ROTC cadet, the Green to Gold program and Army Scholarships to name a few.
