JCLC Camp Success (JROTC Summer Camp)

June 18, 2011

Did you know High School Army JROTC programs fall under Cadet Command's purview? I'm out at JCLC Success, Fort AP Hill, VA speaking to cadets about the upcoming Army ROTC scholarship application period and answering questions about Army ROTC. Brings back memories seeing the young students running around getting ready for a week of fun and Army training. Remember, if your going into your senior year of high school this fall and plan to attend college, start early with applying for the Army scholarship! Contact a university ROTC program near you and visit www.goarmy.com/officer for more information.

Hello! I am currently a "young student" that scrambled for that one week of Army Training. ;) JROTC is one of the best programs for me currently, and I attended my Battalion's JCLC with 300+ other Cadets from around Nevada at Camp Parks, California. I must say, I learned a lot of stuff and boy did I love it! It teaches a lot of stuff you can't learn in a classroom. Soon I'll be entering my Senior year and I am going to fight for a Scholarship!
