Korea CULP 2011 - People
July 10, 2011
One of the best parts of my trip to South Korea with CULP has been the people I have been able to meet. The Korean people have a different way of thinking and its interesting when one starts to notice the differences and discover why. The more I've gotten to know them though I've discovered how similar we are. In the end we both laugh, cry, and share all the basic traits that make us human. Being able to spend time with them and live with them has made me view the Korean people as more of being part of the same group rather than seperate.
I've also been able to learn a lot from the 22 other cadets that accompanied me on the trip. Being forced to live with them and spend almost every waking moment with them has forced me to have to deal with things I otherwise would have ignored. I've learned a lot from the friends I've made here and will never forget the times we've spent together and the memories we share.
