Well I have not posted in a while but wanted to get back in the grove after R&R. Leave was great and really enjoyed some good times with my family and friends. We went to Gattlinburg, TN and had a great time in that area, and I would recomend that everyone go down or up to the Smoky Mountains at least once in their life, just don't go on July 4th like we did. Now that was a crazy time down there, it was like going to Las Vegas just smaller. Well trying to get back to the grind after that can be hard, but everyone that does is always more relaxed and ready to tackle the rest of the deployment and it is just that much closer to the end. One of the best things that did happen is just hanging out with family and some new friends, me and the wife meet some new friends and we really enjoyed just having a BBQ and talking, that is what I really miss about being home.

Well some people are talking about moving deployments to 9 months, and that means there will be no R&R, I belive this would be a great thing. I would love to hear what everyone else thinks. Thats about it hope all in the BDE and others deployed around the world have a good deployment and make it home safe.
