During my trip to Mallard Creek High School in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, I had the distinct privilege of witnessing the presentation of awards select individuals of the school. The awards were presented to the Head Football coach for coaching during the Army's All American Bowl, and Kris Frost who played on the team from Mallard Creek High School. It was a great day for these two outstanding individuals recognized for their hard work and dedication.

I am Drill Sergeant Atchison, I am a member of the current Drill Sergeant Exhibitor Program. One of the main goals of the DSEP is to be in contact with as many people as possible to dispel any misconceptions that they have about Drill Sergeants or Basic Training in todays Army. It's a true pleasure to be part of this program. It gives me the opportunity to talk about something that I am passionate about, to people that may not know too much about it; the Army.
