About Me:
I just recently graduated the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), and I leave for Signal Corps Officer Basic Course (BOLC III) on September 30th 2010. I am a computer programmer, and I specialize in VIDEO GAMES (actually virtual environments). I am especially interested in Brain Computer Interfaces and virtual environments. I believe how we, as a society, deal with these issues from an ethical, moral, and legal standpoint might be our generations greatest contribution (along with renewable energies like solar power). I truly think it is wonderful that we are about to enter the "cyberpunk" era that great authors such as William Gibson, and Bruce Sterling have contemplated for years. I am starting this blog, as a way to, not only show the opportunities, but propose that computers (cyber-security, virtual training) might just be future of the Army. I'll keep the tech specs to a minimum, as my main focus is to get everyone as excited about these advancements as I am.
