Yes you are right it has been a while that I have been on here to blog. I have no excuse for this except busy, forgetful, and slacking in my blogging responsibilities. Now that I said that I was derelict in my duties I will tell you what has been transpiring in my absence on the site. Well first I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and I hope your new year will be better than the last. Sadly I term which means stopped being a drill sergeant on November 1. I enjoyed my stint as a drill sergeant but as the cherries (the new DS) informed me this is our company now I gave my input and slowly transitioned out of DS mode. Luckily the cycle graduated before the Exodus leave holiday and the company gets a nice break before they start it up in January. I’m sure that B795th Co MP BN will continue to set the high standards of soldiers in the MP Regiment that was there before I came an d will continue be raised in the future. I will forever be a Bravo Bull Dog forever. I went to SLC (Senior Leader’s Course) which is what they use to call ANOC (Advanced Non Commission Officer Course). I learned a great deal in the course not only about what I needed to grow on, what I knew, and about my peers. I will take all of those lessons that the cadre and my peers taught me and apply them to my professional development both good and bad. I am currently in the process of moving to Germany! From Leonard Wood to Germany that a treat in itself if you like Europe. I look forward to my new unit and as always I will strive for excellence. My orders say Hohenfels but you know how the Army goes I go where they send my and smile about it. Why get upset over something you can’t control. Well that’s all that has been going on I will keep you up to date in my travels and new duty station. Enjoy the Holidays I know I will and remember and you think its wrong it probably is. Words I live by and they’ve gotten me this far.

Been a little busy buy I thought I would share some of these pictures with you all. The soldiers are in AIT so there is a lot of classroom and practical excersises but ther dooing well otherwise.Soldiers out in the field for there Phase 3 FTX.

Still at the Confidence course

On the path of the 15k the final ruck march in BCT

Soldiers geting ready to attack an objective after doing the Night infiltration course

As I stated I would share some of my past experiences that the Army has allowed me to do. Here I am with one of the UFC fighters at the Arnold Expo. While I was there my battle budies and I had a chance to meet several of the UFC fighters and they were all very cool and humble guys. We had a chance to go to the Jackson vs Jardine match and we all had a great time. Sometimes soldiers do have fun its not work all the time as you see.

Here is a picture of SGT Castle, DS Rodriguez, and I with the the great eight time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman. He was very nice person to meet and posed for this picture with us which you can see from my expersion I was very happy about.

It has been a while since I have posted but I have been busy. I am finish with airborne school and it was another Army school where great training is conducted. FT Benning was an excellent post especially the great facilities gym wise that they have. I meant to take some pictures while I was there but I keep forgetting. FT Benning has a great gym called Smith gym and its open 24-7. This for those who like going to the gym is a godsend and for those who don’t like going to the gym it’s called no excuse at FT Benning. Besides the weather of 96% humidity on a regular basis I had a good time and now I am airborne and air assault and I am just that much a better leader. Now I am back to the company at FT Leonard Wood we are going to the field which is the field training exercise part of basic combat training. This exercise will encompass all that the soldiers have learned and they will use their dismount tactics in the field. The soldiers usually enjoy it and they get good training while they are out in the field. I will post pics of their soldiers in the field when I get back. See you on the next post. Send Me.

It has been a while since I have been on the site because things have been busy. My company is currentlu going through Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM). It looking the way BRM always looks like long days and alot of training in the afternoon. I'm sure they will do well Bravo always does well. I say they will do well because I am finally in airborne school and I am glad I am here. You ask how did I get off of the trail to come to airborne school. The answer is I have a chain of command that takes care of soldiers and for this I am grateful. Sorry I have no pictures. My camera is not here with me but I am working on that issue and i will post pictures when I get a chance.

It has been a while since I have been on but now that I have a break I have some new pics to put up. Here is a picture of me with our Company guidon. Here I am before fill with the new soldiers with the best unit on the installation Bravo 795th Military Police Battalion in the 14th MP Brigade. This is the front of the building.

Here is a picture of our company mascot. One of our past soldiers drew this for the company.

These are some of the new soldiers getting on the bus from reception before the come to the unit.

The Company being shown how to file in a building.

Enforcing some discipline to those who needed it. Can't remember what they did but it's red phase and they have to learn what is right and what is wrong. Physical training is the best way to do this.

Showing the soldiers the proper excersise techniques.

As stated in a previous comment the Army has allowed me to be apart of some great events with the Drill Sergeant Mobile Exhibitor Program. This particular event was the Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH. This was the best event I went to next to the Essence event. Meet a lot of great people both famous and regular people like me. Here is a pic with The Governor of California and my battle buddies. It was great to meet him for that brief moment and this was a successful event for the Army and all that came to our booth at the event. In the future when I get all my picture together I will share some of these photos and what's going on with the new soldiers.

The Essence show in New Orleans was great. I had a chance to experience the great show but also able to meet several people at the Army's booth while at the event. It had a rock wall, a stage for the push up challenge and I had a chance to do mourning work outs with Coca Cola in the morning when people were coming in to the event. With the help of the army boxing team we were able to pump up the crowd get many different age groups on the stage to do push up and also show them with a little motivation they can really do the real pushups Army style with the Drill Sergeant. This was a great event I loved every day I went to the concert and the best part was when the Army had a main stage event. CSM King introduced several service members and me for the second night in the row and for a brief couple seconds we were able tell why we were Army strong. This was great I was on the same stage where Beyonce, John Legend, Al Green, and many other stars were on and the Army was on the same stage doing our thing representing the country. It was an unforgettable experience.

The picture above is when I had a chance to do a tandem jump with the Golden Knights. My instructor Joe and I were attached together and out the plane we fell. A unbelievable experience and I can never say I never get what I want. I jumped out the plane with Joe he asked me “are you afraid of heights"? I replied were about to find out! I a great time and I'm ready for airborne school! This was able to happen while at Ft Meade with the Army Experience.Great time to spend the day!
