Drill Sergeant's and Veterans

September 3, 2010

Yesterday was Veterans Day at the NY State fair and I must tell you that I found myself in aww of them.  I met so many vets from just about every war and all they wanted to do was shake our hand thank us for serving, when all I wanted to do was thank them.  It's amazing how that works.  So I'm gonna something a little different here and take this oppurtunity to thank them using this as my handshake.  It was those that served before us that laid the foundation for what I currently have.  It was their hard work, sweat, tears, blood, laughter and their overall sense of duty that makes what I do possible today.  I can't begin to imagine what they must have went through back in WW2, Korean War, Vietnam, and Desert Storm.  To those that have served with me in OIF and OEF I wanna thank you to.  Without my fellow brothers and sisters in arms we couldn't have been successful.  So I ask that if you read this story and you care about our country, do me a favor and shake a veterans hand and tell them that Drill Sergeant Grabener will never forget what they did and continue to do and they will forever be in my Prayers. Thanks and God Bless

Thanks for putting my picture on your blog. I had a great time at the Justin Bieber concert! I did leave my army t-shirt on until I got to the concert. Maybe next year I can hold on for 2 minutes!!
