Army CPT's discuss leadership with the youths of St. Louis

December 18, 2011

On Saturday the 19th of November 2011, Army CPTs Edward Bouldin, Khadine Quashie, and D'angelo Lloyd representing the 5th Recruiting Brigade, Kansas City Army Recruiting Battalion, and Cadet Command respectfully presented a powerful leadership briefing to St. Louis based youths. The privilege of speaking to the youths was afforded to the officers through a partnership with the 100 Black Men of America (100 BMOA) and the US Army Assesions Command. The St. Louis chapter of the organization hosted the event. They where able to fill their activity room with an audience of over 30 youths from the community and local churches ranging in age from 6 to 28. Topics discussed included traits and characteristics of a leader, Army leadership values, how to become a leader in the Army and many others. The program coordinators of the event felt it went well. The feeling is mutual with those who presented.
