CPT Cory of the Middle Missouri Recruiting Company met with Senator Brian Nieves of the 26th Senatorial District covering Warren and Franklin counties. Senator Nieves hosts a radio program on the AM channel 1350 called "Warrior Wednesdays" and has featured recruiters from the Washington RS on the program frequently to discuss Army benefits.

Marion and the CCG conducted a briefing to Freshman ROTC cadets on the benefits of the Reserves and the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) to help provide future leaders college money and an opportunity to shadow Army leaders to provide them a hands on experience during their time in the ROTC program to understand what they will be doing as Lieutenants and Captains and what their Soldiers and NCOs will be doing to make operations happen and be successful
