Hey Army Fans!

So I know today's weather is less than perfect for an event like the Goat-Engineer game, but it is happening anyway! An annual tradition here is to host a football game between representatives from the top half of the class (the Engineers) against representatives from the bottom half of the class (the Goats). This year I have the distinct pleasure of playing for the Engineers in tonight's sure to be messy match-up. About 10 practices are held prior to the game, of which I was able to attend 3. (Playing for Army's Handball team eats up a lot of time)...and despite only attending three practices I managed to pull the starting outside linebacker job. To put our team in perspective, i'm 5'10 and 178 pounds.....playing outside linebacker. But we are fast, and the field conditions at Daily Field are awful, and the goats aren't that smart (all in good fun). So we should be absolutely victorious tonight. The Goat-Engineer Football game is a great spirit event to kick off the crux of the Army-Navy spirit events. Check back tonight for an update on how the game went, there will be pictures too!

One more thing, go to YouTube and watch the video titled "Midshipland", a parody of Zombieland that was one of the better spirit videos made this year. Oh yeah- GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY

Hey everyone,

My name is Greg Durso, i'm a First Class Cadet in Company E-2 here at the United States Military Academy. I'll be updating Army fans this week on events around post and then down at Philadelphia this weekend as Army beats Navy at Lincoln Financial on Saturday.

I'm originally from Lynbrook, New York, on Long Island, so i'm not too far from home. I play on Army's Team Handball team, I branched Infantry and I'm trying to end up at Fort Drum after graduation, though this weather right now makes me think twice on a daily basis. Anyways, hope everyone comes back often to see all the West Point stories; it's a big week and one that all West Pointers, and soldiers, look forward to...I know I am.

GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY!
