My name is CPT Jared D. Auchey and I 'hail' (father was active duty Air Force) from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I received my commission from Valley Forge Military College in May 2001, and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with Bachelors of Arts Degrees in Political Science and Crime, Law, and Justice in May 2004. At that time I was commissioned into the Adjutant General Corps and was placed on active duty. I am currently serving as the Commander of the Army Experience Center at the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, PA.

My previous assignments include: Military Intelligence Platoon Advisor, Infantry Platoon Leader of 1st Platoon Alpha Company 2/112th Infantry Mechanized, Infantry Detachment Commander of Alpha Company 2/112th Infantry Mechanized, Gold Bar Recruiter at Valley Forge Military College, Battalion Adjutant for Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion, and Carlisle Recruiting Company Commander.

My military education includes the Recruiting Company Commander's Course, Commander's Safety Course, Anti-Terrorism Training Course, Total Army Instructor Training Course, and the Adjutant General Officer Basic Course.

I am married to Erin Auchey and we have a son: Owen David and two Bichon Frises: Maddie and Bailey. My brother graduated from 68W-M6 on 4 March and will be heading to Fort Sam Houston, TX as his first duty assignment.
