I just wrapped up my final trip with the Drill Sergeant Exhibitor Program (I will tell you why I am leaving the program early in my next post.) Future soldiers were the focus for this trip. I would team up with DS Robertson and this was our first time working together. We only had three visits to make, two in Nebraska and one in Wichita. The two trips in Nebraska were located in Lincoln and Omaha. The intent was to answer some questions...read more

15th November through the 19th of November. DS Semsick and I continued our tour of Ohio. We started off in Stow with a future soldier event. We got about 6 future soldiers and introduced them to some physical fitness training. Some of the exercises we used came from the Prep Drill, CD1, CD2 and the Recovery drill. After our PT session we returned to the recruiting station and fielded questions. The future soldiers seemed to have a little bit more reassurance after getting to work with us....read more

So I am going to try something a little different with this post. I had so much to keep me busy in Des Moines and so much to write about I wanted to try and sum it all up at once. Where do I start? Running, I stick by my belief that the best way to check out any area you are at is by putting in some miles. As soon as I got to Des Moines, I jumped on the internet and scouted out my route. As soon as I got on the street I kind of felt as...read more

Blog World Expo 2010 13OCT2010: Las Vegas, Nevada. So I know not everyone gets this opportunity in the Army to go TDY to Sin City and I am considered one of the lucky ones. I have been to Vegas once, about a year and a half ago, and this time it is for business not pleasure. I would not be alone, as far as Drill Sergeant support goes, DS Peffer and I would be helping out for this Expo. I got situated in my lodging and started unpacking in preparation for the Blog World Expo 2010. When...read more
