While visiting the Orlando Metroa Area, I've had the opportunity to participate in the 2011 DECA Conference as one of three West Point Representatives. As a young officer and 2009 graduate of the United States Military Academy, I've been able to provide a very unique perspective on the Army for a possible career.

The Conference is open to high school students from across the country and will run for a few days. The Army has a booth set-up in the very front of the Orange County Convention Center, so each student that enters will see us and have the chance to ask any questions. I've made it a point to provide information on Cadet life at the Academy, the importance of education following hih school, and opportunities that the Army can offer, both as an Non-Commissioned Officer and a Commissioned Officer. All in all, it's a PHENOMENAL opportunity to reach a very large group of kids at once!
