ILE Con't

June 9, 2011

Now, I must forewarn you to tailor your taste buds as 120+ days of eating in the dining facility (because you will be on meal card status) tend to get a little old after the 1st month - or so. The living conditions in “Griffith Hall” could truly use some plumbing upgrades. It’s possible that you could hear and witness some sort of muck bubble up in either your toilet or perhaps your sink sometime during your stay. However, the good news story is that Holiday Inn Express is expected to take over, reface and renovate “Griffith Hall” sometime during the latter part of the summer.  Despite the above noted hiccups, I truly enjoyed my time and experiences, fostered what I believe will be lasting relationships and will be graduating and returning to the field smarter than when I arrived.
