Interesting cases
April 20, 2010
I haven't posted a lot in the past few weeks since I had a lot of other things going on. I have 2 more months in my current job before I am back in the clinic full-time. Here are some cases from my last time in the clinic.

Patient wanted to get rid of some of his "bling" that he had had placed by a jeweler.

Removed the shells and cleaned the teeth up a little. Fortunately no permenant damage had been done to the teeth or gums.

Patient had had this bridge placed by a civilian dentist about 5 years ago. The crown was not cemented anymore to the back tooth, and he was able to work floss up and under the back part of the bridge. The angle of the tooth, the amount of tooth above the gum, and the ultimate plan for the area (implant) led to me cutting the bridge and removing the back tooth.

Cut the bridge so that the front part of the bridge remained as a single crown.
By the end of the day we had done:
5 exams, 3 composite fillings, 2 extractions, 2 amalgams
