Returning to Creighton University for MS IV Year.

July 19, 2010

Next month, I’ll return to Creighton University to begin my senior year, and my MS IV year of Army ROTC. I just returned from LDAC (Operation Warrior Forge) last week at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and I believe I am well-positioned to help prepare the junior class, the MS IIIs, to attend WF next summer.

The officers and NCOs at WF were tough, but their guidance and evaluations were fair and necessary. I am thankful for their efforts and am glad they were able to share their knowledge with us. I could not have made it through the experience without the constant support of my platoon and squad. We could not succeed without teamwork and selflessness. It was a great group of young men and women, I am thankful to have served with them.

I’m not sure of the position I’ll be holding in the battalion this year, but it will most likely be battalion S4 or platoon tactical officer (TAC). I’m looking forward to the new semester and getting my branch assignment in October! I'm hoping for Transportation Corps or Quartermaster.
