    This week for lab half of the Batt conducted CLS training to learn how to effectivley evaluate and treat a wounded soldier. The other half which was my company, Bravo Company conducted the hand grenade assualt course (HGAC).     Last weekend the entire Pirate Batt. went out on a FTX to Camp Butner, NC. While there we conducted dday and night land nav on Saturday then did a full day of STX Lanes and battle drills on Sunday. Monday morning we finished up with a ruck march competition. The ruck march was only 2.7 miles but it was done at the fastest pace possible because it was a competition between the four platoons.     Monday morning was a good morning for Bravo Company 2nd Plt in the Pirate Battalion. In preparation for our fall FTX this weekend my platoon conducted a 3 mile ruck march that was a stepping stone for those who have never done a ruck to get ready for this weekend.     If its not raining your not training was the true motto for today's PT session. With a weeks worth of rain and flooding around town mother nature still could not bring the Pirates to a halt. We drove on with out skipping a beat and moral was high. For PT we ran 60/120's and did various upper and lower body excersies, pretty solid workout.     As a sophmore/ MSII enrolled with ECU AROTC the opportunites are great and the friends are even better. This year I am responisble for a fireteam's operation moral and overall success in the program. At the Pirate Battalion this are not the same as a lot of other battalions around the nation.
