University of Toledo Army ROTC Lab

February 3, 2012

Every week The University of Toledo's Army ROTC Rocket Battalion has a hands on lab. This past week we had a weapons lab including the M249, 50 CAL, M203, M16 and the M19. We had a hands on experience getting to know the weapon, taking it apart, and putting it back together. There were different stations each with their own weapon. We had small groups which gave us more experience with the weapons. My favorite part of the lab was getting to shoot the M19. Next week in lab we are doing practical first aid exercises.

Hi Roy. Let me start by saying, you need to clean up what you write. Asking a question with a complete absence of any grammar isn't going to help you at all if you wish to join the Military.

Beyond that, establish a professional e-mail address, contact recruiters in your area through that address, and state that you are not available by telephone. Have a face-to-face with recruiters, and present yourself in the best way possible. There are a great many things that you can do to augment your chances of signing a contract.

Now, your comment gives me serious doubt to the motivation and dedication you have to serve. Whether this is fair or not, all I can rely on is the jumble of words you have provided me with. This is an example of how important it is to present yourself as best you can. Joining the service for a change of scenery isn't a very good reason. If you wish to serve, I can only hope that you possess a solid want to serve your country.

I hope I've been able to give you a little bit of advice, and some serious points to think about. Whatever you end up doing, I hope you enjoy it, and best of luck to you in any and all endeavors.
