I began my day at home on the island of Kauai, Hawaii and after a long 9 hours in the air I'm almost to my destination of Fairbanks, Alaska. I'm going straight from my leave time at home to my AIAD. After traveling with the government for a few years now I'm beginning to wonder if working with Carlson Waggonlit gets any easier with time. I had requested a flight change a week ago so that I could go from leave straight to my AIAD but hadn't heard back from the travel agency and it was the Friday before I was supposed to leave. In the end though, I got my flight and am ready to start my time at my “internship”, I guess thats the best way to describe it.
