The MASSP Spring Conference Spring Conference this past weekend provided an excellent opportunity for our recruiting company commanders and education specialist to meet a number of influencers who come into contact with high school seniors on a daily basis in the hallways of schools across the State of Missouri  The conference was held March 27-29, 2011 at the Lodge of Four Seasons at the Lake of the Ozarks, MO.   The theme was "Be Somebody's Hero."    Clearly, many of the educators participating in the conference embraced the theme and welcomed our Soldiers as "Heros."   Several Principals visited our booth to discuss March2Success, STEM educational outreach and other issues impacting the high schools, the community and the Army.  Principals were encouraged to ensure their staff forwards nominations for the Army Reserve Scholar Athlete Award and works with their local Army recruiter to coordinate an appropriate venue for presentation.  Many of the educators remarked that our exhibit was the BEST in the Exhibit Hall.  We're looking forward to participating in this event next year!
