Here I was, beginning to write a paper titled "here's to me", when a Captain walked into the library. Then an awkward moment took place. I was so intune to writing this new blog that I failed to recognize the officer as she was beginning to pass by. It took me nearly three seconds for my brain to register that the insignia, she was wearing was that of an officer. March 27th, 2010; I was departing Oklahoma City en route to my Advance Individual Training (AIT) in Ft. Meade, Maryland. Along the way I was introduced to Chicago and quickly had a glimspe of Baltimore before I was whisked away in that yellow cab toward my final destination.
