A tribute to Black History Month

February 14, 2011

This past weekend I was part of a tribute to Black History Month at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, NC.   The program was entitled Empower Me they had numerous workshops and seminars to help enlighten young people on life improving skills.  The highlight for me was the Black History display that was setup, this do such a profound impact on me to see how much African Americans have evolved in the military over the course of time.  The rolls they have played in the for front of the military, the roles that African American Women has played in the military is great.  A great display of African American Culture in the Military.

Hi is there any way that I could email a female drill sergeant? I haven't even been able to really meet a female recruiter and I have questions that I would like answered. Thanks so much.
