A little back story: My last day of active duty was 11 September 2001. I signed my DD 214 and my DA 31in between the two plane crashes in New York. I was stationed in Atlanta at Ft. McPherson, which was small enough that I could get back to the barracks just in time to watch the live feed of the second impact. I discoverd this blog site this morning and decided I would tell my stories here. I have served 13 and a half years and been in some incredible places. I served four years active in the EOD community before leaving to get my college degree. Ten years later, I am nine hours from my degree and a Commissioned Officer, part 2 of my goal.
