Tuesday was our first full day of research and work at Army Cyber. Instead of working with all of the command, I was assigned to a particular section. I was assigned to the G3. After picking some brains and having some conversations with the some of the people in the G3 I had an idea of  what direction I wanted to head but still didn’t really have any solid ideas. Cadet Ramirez and I then sat down with the chief of the department were assigned  to in order to find out what types of things we could work on and develop; things that would not only be beneficial to our learning but also to the development and advancement of the U.S. Army. After about a half hour discussion, I had an idea that I had some interest in, and also had some room for development. The topic that I decided to begin research on was INSIDER THREATS. The first thing that really came to mind with insider threats and the Army was with WikiLeaks and Bradley Manning. I took this idea and hit the ground running. For the remainder of the day I did some initial research on insider threats and where they have had affects on the government and in the civilian sector.

“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan
