I had a great time talking about what the Army has to offer. We had the Army band there for the first couple days and everyone was impressed at the skill and range in music...read more

I got to Dallas and everything shut down because of weather and when they finally let us board the plane we sat on the tarmac waiting for an hour. Lucky for us there was a Mariachi band and their entire family on the plane and they serenaded us till we took off - not bad unless you just wanted to sleep. Once I landed in McAllen,...read more

Five Drill Sergeants and myself converged on the Indianapolis Convention center last week for the 83rd National Future Farmers of America Convention. It was amazing and in the beginning I have to admit that I was a little nervous when 55,000 students, family, and teachers walked through the door on the first day, but once I started talking to them I fell right into the groove. There were tables full of informational and educational brochures and instruction materials in addition...read more
