My first experience with terrorism occured over 20 years ago when I was a young Airman stationed in Korea. I was a bomb loader, and we all kind of knew each other. My neighbor in the dorms was a fellow loader, John Raven. His best friend, Curt Green, lived downstairs and often attended our rauncus parties. I find attending the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) very nurturing. The instructors here at CGSC are master experts with a wealth of knowledge on brigade and higher operational overviews. The course curriculum presented by instructors on topics of leadership, history and tactics has changed my way of thinking at the tactical and strategic level. 5 days before I begin my mandatory dosage of malaria pills, 9 days before we are wheels up and headed to the "Motherland."
