Hello Drill Sergeant Grant here again. I'm currently down here in Los Angeles, CA at the NAACP convention. Which has been outstanding. The Army booth was open from the 23 till the 26th. We had a great time interacting with all of the participants there. Communicating about education, money for college and promoting officership in the minority arena. Hello again, army strong stories. I have been in the Drill Sergeant Exhibitor Program since Feb and I'm really enjoying the program. It gives a better insight on how hard our brothers and sisters in the recruiting field have to work. I now have a better understanding and respect for them and their mission. Hello, I have recently been selected to be part of one of the most prestigious programs I have had the opportunity of working with, the Drill Sergeant Exhibitor Program. The main focus is for us to travel around the states, visiting high schools, colleges and high profile events talking about my Army story, basic training and the Army as a whole. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else Friday night except for maybe the Stars and Stripes Dinner in Washington, DC. This dinner was a star studded event to honor some distinguished individuals that represented all the branches of military services.
