I am proud of all the cadet in my battalion for getting up everymorning coming to pt , lab and going to class. They are my motivating force to do the same. By: Sergeant First Class Mahoma Tello

As my battle buddy, DS Robertson, blogged about how busy is was yesterday at the Army booth, today was no different. The engagement each exhibitor had with each person is a lasting impression on how they view the Army and the military. It is one Army, from Army Recruiters, Army Educators, Army ROTC, and Army Drill Sergeants (if I forgot someone, you are a part of this too), each individual had a chance to engage, share Army stories, where they are from and what...read more

  • Inventories!

    October 19, 2010

By: First Lieutenant Hannah Guarendi He

The last few weeks here have been crazy with inventories. We got back some Early Reset equipment, mostly backup pieces that were held in reserve during the deployment. Thankfully none of our big signal equipment had any breakdowns during the missions so the backup was never touched. We also got back all the Left Behind Equipment that was left here at Fort Gordon. So far, my least favourite part of this process has been the toolkits. Now, toolkits can be very useful, and I love gadgets and...read more

    By: Staff Sergeant Jonathan Short

Blog World Expo 2010 13OCT2010: Las Vegas, Nevada. So I know not everyone gets this opportunity in the Army to go TDY to Sin City and I am considered one of the lucky ones. I have been to Vegas once, about a year and a half ago, and this time it is for business not pleasure. I would not be alone, as far as Drill Sergeant support goes, DS Peffer and I would be helping out for this Expo. I got situated in my lodging and started unpacking in preparation for the Blog World Expo 2010. When...read more

  • Zephyrhills, FL - Zephyrhills High School

    October 14, 2010

By: Sergeant First Class Mahoma Tello

Yesterday I headed out to Zephyrhills High School in Zephyrhills, FL. Now when you think of Florida, you think of Miami, or Orlando, land of Disney, but Zephyrhills is like no other small town in the states, with population of over 10,000, it made me think of Overland Park, and that is in the state of Kansas. Ryan Pickett, who is a defensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers, graduated from Zephyrhills High School in 1998, around the same time I graduated high...read more
