About Me: I was a service member for 10 years & then got out due to family obligations. I went on to become a teacher & am finishing a M.Ed. to become an administrator in the public schools. I am also a university instructor working with student-teacher interns. I teach them how to teach social studies. I have 3 daughters & 3 sons as well as 6 grandkids. My oldest was active for 8 yrs & served in Iraq. Now she is in ROTC w/ the intent of returning to active duty as an enlisted officer. Another daughter is married to an active duty member who has served in Iraq. My father, grandfather, brother, & uncle were service members also as well as my husband and many of our nephews. The military & the military lifestyle is an intergral part of my life & has been for as long as I can possibly remember. I made a conscious decision to live & raise my family in a military area which has been wonderful as they were raised in a multicultural life that has provided so much. No way but the military way! HOOAAHHH
