					My name is Allie Braun and I am a cadet at West Point.  I just finished my third year and today is my first day working on a research project with The Stucky Group at the University of California Santa Barbara.  This research group is a part of the Chemistry and Materials Department here at the university.  It is headed by a gentleman named Galen Stucky and the research conducted in these labs focuses on organic and inorganic interface chemistry.
