      <title>Retiring Officer Comes Full-Circle</title>

					A few days ago I had the enormous pleasure of attending a retirement ceremony for Lieutenant Colonel Dwain Wilkins, North Carolina National Guard.  The ceremony was held at the headquarters of the 139th Combined Arms Regiment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  The 139th is responsible for providing training for the NC National Guard including officer candidate school, non-commissioned officer training, and military occupational specialty (MOS) specific skills training.       <title>FTX at Duke Forrest</title>

					What a great weekend of Army training! Our cadet leadership has been working to put this training together since the beginning of the semester. Relatively simple stuff &amp;#8211; day and night land navigation and squad-level situational training exercise (STX) lanes. The logistics and training management aspects of planning and resourcing the event can be complicated, however. Especially if this is your first time doing it!
