      <title>Shadowing Update</title>

	I was fortunate enough to start a rotation in the ICU department, which is perhaps the most important department here at Landstuhl, as it treats the greatest number of severe combat injuries. I shadowed multiple doctors rather than just one, as certain patients were inactive while others underwent multiple surgeries. 	I was fortunate enough to be able to shadow an Osteopathic Doctor today, and even see him use many skills he learnt during Medical School during his osteopathic training. We saw about 20 patients during the whole day, and I was able to see how truly busy a Family Medicine Doctor truly is. We covered patients with everything from shoulder injuries to painful intercourse to eczema.
