					I am an Army officer with eleven years of service. The question has been asked: why do you serve? I must admit that my reasons for serving have changed over the years. As a cadet, I looked forward to becoming a lieutenant and leading a platoon. As a company commander, I anticipated the positive impact that I would have on my company&amp;#8217;s mission accomplishment, professional development, and training. Today my focus has changed.
