The Army Golden Knights jumped at the Wheeler Airport in Kansas City this weekend. The Knights jumped from over 10,000 feet in a bright blue sky. A stream of smoke trailed them as they fell to the earth then opening their gold and black parachutes to sail to the landing zone. Missouri State Fair

This week the Missouri State Fair will take place in Sedalia, MO. The Kansas City Recruiting Battalion will participate at the fair by providing a Hummer on 15 August. The annual 101st NAACP Convention is in Kansas City, Mo this year to honor the U.S Army. The U.S Army has a multi-culture tour exhibit set up at the convention for attendees to learn about U.S. Army oportunities. Many attendees have visited the booth to inquire about Soldiering, commissioning, and many other facets of Army life.
