					Another part of our trip was to teach english to middle school students. &#xD;
&#xD;
	My experience of this was challenging. As we all entered the premise of the school many of the students were outside and greeted us as if we were celebrities. We got into the school that had no air conditioning and the windows of the classrooms were filled with students peeping out to see what their teacher for 5 days would look like. I got to my assigned classroom and was again praised. &#xD;

	The culture in South Korea is pretty intense. Although from the older generation, I have heard that it is fading and the younger generation has become very materialistic and superficial. You can see this in the way that people dress as well as the actors/actresses and artist. ALL of them have plastic surgery and have name brand products.       <title>South Korea Summer CULP 2011</title>

					As one of the first US ROTC cadets to meet the Korean ROK Army cadets, I am writing this blog.&#xD;
&#xD;
	To begin, we arrived at the ROK ROTC training facility earlier this week. At first I was intimiated due to the fact that I was a Korean US Army ROTC cadet. Because I believed that the pride and competition would be high. As we got there we were greeted out of our bus by a two star General of Cadet Command for the ROK followed by his staff.
