					I knew from a young age that I wanted to serve my country in the armed services. When I began to look at colleges, I narrowed my search to those Universities that were built upon the ideals upon which I was raised. I ended up choosing Virginia Tech because it offered more than the traditional ROTC experience. The Corps of Cadets combined with Army ROTC has allowed me to further my leadership skills and become the person I am today.
