Once I returned from the conference I was assigned to help another intern read through case files. All of the files were homicide related and our job was to sort through these homicides and decide which categories they fell under. We were also tasked to remove all digital data and handwriting samples from the cases because one of the analysts was assessing differences. Some of the cases were pretty graphic. It was very intense to see the kinds of things certain people are capable of. The reason...read more

While I was at Quantico I was fortunate enough to go on a trip to the holocaust museum. For anyone who has not been there it is a memorial museum dedicated to those who experienced the events that took place during that time. The reason we went there is because one of the other interns from West Point was assigned to the Leadership unit. The Leadership unit hosts police chiefs from all over the country and all over the world. The come to the FBI's leadership unit to help better themselves and...read more

From June 14 to July 6, 2010 I was assigned by the behavioral science unit of the FBI. The experience I had was amazing. The agent I was assigned to "shadow" was hosting a conference in NC that was intended to find ways to improve the current airline security system. On June 14 I arrived at the conference to attend a meet and greet. There I met many different people who were attending the conference. Each one of them could be categorized; academic, government, or TSA. The next day...read more
