As the semester begins to cool down, the level of intensity at PT is really firing up. This week, the platoons of Apache Company have been competing in various sporting events for physical training. The crowd favorite being dodgeball, played this past Wednesday morning. In addition to dodgeball we have also competed in basketball, and ultimate football. With only two PT sessions left it seems that we are in a race to the finish. Good luck with finals, finish strong Apache....read more

This week we had our company RAPFT. This was the fitness assessment that will count towards many of our MSIIIs accessions packet for LDAC. It also usually marks a turning point in, and a winding down of, the semester. Physical training from here on out is likely to be more focused on retention and thereby much more exciting. Stay classy Apache....read more

 Greetings readers,

Much of this week was spent in recovery of our Fall Training Exercise, however the MSIIIs of LTC Soldato's MS401 class still managed to cook up some great battalion training. After a last minute brief and a series swiftly implemented fragmentary orders, Wednesday's Battalion MIssion PT went off without a hitch. The cadets of Bravo Company joined forces with Apache Company for a mentally and physically demanding check on the weekends learning. Cadets, by platoon,...read more

This week Liberty Battalion conducted its Fall Training Exercise. Cadets from both Alpha and Bravo Company joined forces at Camp Edwards to put on a great weekend of training. Upon arrival, cadets were taught how to defend a semi-permanent base like the one we stayed in, known as TTB Kelly. With ECP, QRF, and Guard Tower forces in place, we were then attacked repeated by the OPFOR, who were persistent in their efforts to destroy the base. During day two, MSIIIs...read more

Liberty Battalion had some great training this week. In addition to our standard routine we ran an excellent awareness raising event on campus today with the girls of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority. We set up a multi-station boot-camp type training situation for them to build spirit and unity within their sorority as well as to raise awareness on campus about our Army ROTC program. The girls participated in events such as the: obstacle course, truck pull, stretcher...read more

Alpha Company had some real good practical training as well as some extremely motivating pt this week. On Friday during our regular physical training time-slot, we conducted a company run to the Boston Commons IN our Halloween costumes. Our MSIIIs leading cadence the whole way.

However, this week wasn't all fun and games. We learned and practiced a few different basic battle drills as well. This training comes just in time for our upcoming FTX on November 12th....read more
