i recall many months ago my plt was driving back to the FOB late at night on the MSR. to help illustrate its third world dark at night and the roads are hoirribly paved with heavy ruts and large speed bumps. the gunner in the last vehicle calls up "whoa sh!t theres a crazy guy on a bike swerving through the convoy!" i see this afghani motorcyle god in my mirror, turban and man jamis flapping in the wind ( and wearing sandals) on a beater kawasaki goin a good...read more
