					i was on an observation post (op) on a hill one side was facing a village, the other a kuchi camp ( kuchi are the nomadic people of AFG). we&amp;#39;re all sittin there observing doin what we do and we see this camel sitting in the middle of the desert. us being bored we go check out  the camel. i was pumped by now this was the first camel i&amp;#39;d seen up close, ive been wanting to try to ride one my whole deployment . my excitement turned to...&lt;a href="http://armystrongstories.com/blogger/kenneth-fellows/camel-hill/"&gt;read more&lt;/a&gt;</description>

					i recall many months ago my plt was driving back to the FOB late at night on the MSR. to help illustrate its third world dark at night and the roads are hoirribly paved with heavy ruts and large speed bumps. the gunner in the last vehicle calls up &amp;quot;whoa sh!t theres a crazy guy on a bike swerving through the convoy!&amp;quot; i see this afghani motorcyle god in my mirror, turban and man jamis flapping in the wind ( and wearing sandals) on a beater kawasaki goin a good...&lt;a href="http://armystrongstories.com/blogger/kenneth-fellows/the-night-rider/"&gt;read more&lt;/a&gt;</description>
