      <title>Talking about the Army in CA</title>

					Had a great day &amp;#8211; rough draft of paper on Afghan complete. Then great night with Mike Jones and Stuart Thompson and his students from Stanford talking about the Army, School and life at the Cachagua General Store. Great food, wine and conversation. Kids wanted to know about Afghan and what soldiers face.  Also talked a bit about LT expectations and great leadership opportunities. 					I am Lieutenant Colonel Michael P. Gabel from Northport, New York.&#xD;
&#xD;
	I graduated from the United States Military Academy as a Field Artillery Officer in 1990.&#xD;
&#xD;
	I have completed all the necessary schools and assignments and am currently a Fellow at NPS. &#xD;
&#xD;
	I have served in Germany and Ft Drum twice, Washington DC, and Brussels at NATO HQ.
